Women Writers Vector Toolkit Team

The Women Writers Vector Toolkit was created by a group of faculty members, staff, and undergraduate and graduate students at Northeastern University. For a full list of the project staff, visit the team members page. Project staff worked in multiple teams to build the WWVT:

  • The Corpus Team focused on training models from TEI-encoded data and testing those models for accurate and reliable results.
  • The Infrastructure Team created, improved, and maintained the Word Vector Interface, an R Shiny application providing user-friendly access to the Corpus Team’s models. The group also worked with the Pedagogy Team to build the Women Writers Vector Toolkit website.
  • The Pedagogy Team created the wireframe for the Women Writers Vector Toolkit, and wrote most of WWVT web pages, as well as the assignments and case studies that are found here.
