These slides will teach you the basics of ODD editing and schema customization. In particular, you will learn about modules and classes (the TEI’s mechanism for grouping together elements). You will learn how to either delete or include elements from the generic TEI schema. You will also learn how to delete attributes by class or from specific elements, and how to constrain attribute values, particularly those that should have a controlled vocabulary.
