Susanne Woods is Honored by EMW

The WWP is proud to announce that the Society for the Study of Early Modern Women, at its April 1996 meeting, awarded Professor Susanne Woods (Chair of the WWP Advisory Board's Executive Committee) its Inaugural Award for Special Achievement "in recognition of her scholarship, mentorship, fellowship, and distinguished and visionary service to the field of early modern women."

In accepting the award, Professor Woods, one of WWP's founders, acknowledged the contributions of WWP advisors, consultants and staff. "I'm deeply honored," she said, "but this really belongs to all of us."
